Human Resources Specialist

DPI Specialty Foods, the Northwest's leading specialty foods distributor, currently seeks a Human Resources Specialist to join our HR Department. This is a full-time position Monday - Friday 8:00am - 5:00pm.

• 3-5 years prior experience in the Human Resources function, preferably as a generalist in a distribution or manufacturing environment.
• Knowledge of the Ceridian Payroll/HR system a plus.
• Excellent people skills including the ability to resolve employee conflicts within the organization.
• Must be organized and able to handle multiple projects in a fast-paced environment.
• Attention to detail, teamwork and continuous improvement skills and experience.
• Excellent communication skills required.
• Proficiency with Word, Excel and PowerPoint.

This position is responsible for assisting with the planning and administering of policies and programs relating to all phases of Human Resources. This includes but is not limited to assisting with recruitment and retention, training, employee relations and recognition, legal compliance, payroll & benefits, FMLA, workers' compensation, etc.
