Master Data Management Staff

The Master Data Management (MDM) Staff is responsible for proper data entry and maintenance of data in the DPI Oracle System. The areas maintained include item master and related files and screens, vendor master and related files and screens, cost changes, vendor promotions, iSupplier and DPI Portal settings. Quick turnaround of division and corporate requests is extremely important. We must deliver accurate information in a timely fashion serving our "internal customers" properly.

• High School Diploma or GED with two years of responsible office, customer service and/or data entry experience.
• Ability to work with customers and employees of the organization.
• Ability to solve practical problems and deal with a variety of concrete variables in situations where only limited standardization exists.
• Ability to interpret a variety of instructions furnished in written, oral, diagram, or schedule form.
• Basic computer experience including data entry, email, internet, Microsoft Word and Excel. Oracle experience is a plus.
• Must have ability to prioritize with appropriate urgency and maintain confidentiality.
• Excellent interpersonal, written and verbal communication skills and high level of initiative.

• Accurately key into system and maintain all related data as described in the summary above.
• Work closely with other employees (purchasing, product managers, sales, national directors, etc.) as needed to resolve questions, issues, etc.
• Work with vendors and brokers to resolve missing data issues so that items, vendors, cost changes, and promotions can be processed in a timely fashion.
• Hold vendors and brokers accountable for providing accurate information.
• Run system reports and distribute to appropriate personnel.
• Will transmit data to our divisions and effectively communicate this information flow.
• Ongoing data clean up and entry of additional data.
• Develop a complete understanding of the DPI Oracle System as it relates to the job duties.
• Other duties and special projects as assigned.
