Order Selector

DPI Specialty Foods, a market leader in the food distribution industry, currently has an opening for an order selector in Henderson, CO.

• Must be able to perform each essential duty satisfactorily.
• Preferred pallet jack experience and experience working night shift.
• Ability to read and interpret documents such as safety rules, operating and maintenance instructions, and procedure manuals.
• Ability to write routine reports and correspondence.
• Must be able to stand, use hands to finger, handle, or feel and reach with hands and arms.
• Must be able to walk, stoop, kneel, and crouch.
• Must be able to lift up to 50 lbs.

• Reads customer order, work order and/or shipping order to determine items to be moved, gathered and shipped.
• Assembles customer orders from stock and places orders on pallets for shipping department.
• Marks materials with identifying information.
• Open master packs to ship correct quantities.
• Records amounts of materials or items distributed.
• Weighs or counts items for distribution within plant to ensure conformance to company standards.
• Compiles orders to conform to customer specifications.
• Drives electric pallet jacks to complete all essential tasks.
