Order Selector

DPI Specialty Foods is the Northwest's Leading Food Distributor. We are currently seeking motivated and experienced WAREHOUSE ORDER SELECTORS to join our Tualatin Warehouse Team on a full-time basis. Order selectors are expected to accurately and safely pick orders for our customers and meet company standards of cases picked per hour.

This position is SWING SHIFT and begins at 4:00pm and ends when all orders have been picked. Must be available to work overtime when needed.

Compensation: The base rate is guaranteed at $11.09. In addition to the base rate, there is also a shift premium of $0.50. With our competitive incentive plan in place, Order Selectors have the opportunity to earn up to $18+ based on the number of cases picked per hour. Essential duties and responsibilities include the following:

*Read pick labels to determine slot locations for products stored in warehouse for selection.
* Accurately and efficiently select orders and place on to pallets for shipment.
* Operate electric pallet jack to select orders.
* Ensure correct product or materials are being selected and stacked properly.

Requirements

* At least one year of order selecting experience. Experience in the grocery/food distribution industry is preferred.
* Must be legally authorized to work in the United States.
* Must work in a multi-temperature environment- dry, referigerated/cooler, and freezer.
* Must be able to work independently in a fast paced environment.
* Must be able to repetitively lift up to 50lbs.
* Basic communication and reading skills in English, as well as basic math skills are required.
* Experience operating a pallet jack.
* Must be able to perform essential duties with or without reasonable accomodation.
* Must pass background check and drug screen.
