Receptionist

DPI Specialty Foods, the Northwest's Leading Specialty Foods Distributor, seeks an energetic Receptionist to answer HIGH-VOLUME incoming calls and greet our on-site visitors. The Receptionist will operate an 8-line switch board and take in a daily average of 400 incoming calls. Since the Receptionist is the face of DPI, we are seeking someone positive and professional with excellent customer service who enjoys being on the phone lines!

• High School Diploma or equivalent.
• At least one year of receptionist experience answering high-volume calls.
• Ability to operate a multi-phone line system and handle high-volume calls. Experience with ShoreTel Phone System a plus!
• Proficient with the use of Microsoft Office Programs such as Outlook. 
• Excellent communication and interpersonal skills.
• Ability to work or communicate with all organizational levels. 
• Ability to handle multiple tasks.
• Must pass drug test and background check.

• Answer high-volume incoming calls, determine purpose of callers, and forward calls to appropriate personnel or department.
• Retrieve messages from company voice message system and forward to appropriate personnel.
• Take and deliver messages or transfer calls to voicemail when appropriate personnel are unavailable.
• Welcome and greet on-site visitors, determine nature of business, and direct visitors to appropriate personnel.
• Monitor visitor access.
• Retrieve, open, and sort mail.
• Maintain neat appearance of lobby.
• Perform other clerical duties as needed.

• This is a full-time position with a schedule of Monday - Friday 8am - 5pm.
