Transportation Manager

DPI Specialty Foods, a market leader in the food distribution industry, currently has an opening for an experienced Transportation Manager.
 

• Must have a minimum of 5 years experience in the Transportation industry involved in the training and supervision of route delivery drivers.
• Must have a minimum of 2 years experience and working knowledge of transportation routing and vehicle tracking programs
• Must be knowledgeable in DOT, State, and Federal transportation regulations. 
• Experience with Microsoft Excel, Words and Outlook.   
• Must have good communication skills
• Business Management degree desired

• This position is responsible for all aspects of the routing and transportation department. This would also include implementing and tracking all drivers on the existing GPS system. Set goals within the department. Work with the existing Transportation management staff to implement driver expectations. Administrator and manage the routing department including the Road show software. Interact with operation staff, drivers, office staff and customers.
