Vice President of Sales and Marketing

 Job Summary


This position is responsible for the complete management and performance of all operations of the Sales and Marketing team for the Midwest division.  Directs and coordinates activities of one or more departments such as Director of Marketing, Director of Grocery, Director of Perishables, and/or other major divisions of the business organization, and aids chief financial officer in formulating and administering organization policies and assistance in financial reporting for Sales.

 Requirements

Ideal candidate will have 4-10 years prior sales and/or marketing management experience.  To be successful in this position must be an independent critical thinker with the ability to navigate though problems in order to make important decisions based on facts.  Strong leadership skills and previous management/supervision experience, strong attention to detail, organization skills and ability to handle multiple priorities in a fast-paced environment are required.  Must have good judgment, be self motivated, dedicated to customer service, ability to coordinate and handle several projects simultaneously and work independently of others.  Position requires a strong work ethic, flexibility, resourcefulness, as well as excellent interpersonal and written/verbal communication skills.  Must have advanced knowledge of Microsoft Word, Excel, and Outlook.  Ability to drive/travel on a routine basis throughout the entire division and as needed throughout all of DPI’s operating areas.
